The Office Coordinator supports the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of Faith Community Bible Church, helping ministry leaders and staff stay organized, equipped, and supported in the work of ministry. This role helps coordinate communication, prepare materials, manage office systems, and assist with the practical needs of church life and ministry.

FCBC is a growing Bible-teaching church located in Boise, Idaho, serving families across the Treasure Valley including Meridian, Eagle, Kuna, and surrounding communities. The Office Manager helps support the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of Faith Community Bible Church, serving ministry leaders and staff through organization, communication, and practical support. This role plays a key part in helping ministries function smoothly and efficiently by coordinating office systems, managing administrative projects, and assisting with the ongoing needs of church life and ministry.

The purpose of the position of Office Coordinator is to assist the Ministry Leads with administrative tasks which will strengthen FCBC to fulfill its mission of glorifying God by pointing the affections of all people to the all-satisfying person of Jesus Christ.

key responsibilities

  • Provide administrative assistance to ministry leadership, ensuring everyone has what they need to excel.
  • Print and cut printed material for entire ministry.
  • Ensure that the office is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • In coordination with Executive Pastor, act as a central point for internal communications, ensuring team alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Assisting with special projects by coordinating resources, tracking progress and meeting deadlines.
  • Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Screen incoming telephone calls; take and deliver accurate messages; respond to requests by gathering and providing information and referring non-routine calls to the appropriate staff.
  • Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, special projects and other documents in support of objectives for the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Advanced Proficiency in using Artificial Intelligence (AI) platforms.
  • Advanced Proficiency or ability to learn within 30 workdays, ProPresenter.
  • Advanced Proficiency or ability to learn within 30 workdays, Planning Center.
  • Advanced Proficiency or ability to learn within 30 workdays, Canva platform.
  • Proficiency in Grammarly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Willing attitude to assist ministry leaders.

Schedule & Expectations

The Office Coordinator shall be conservative and balanced in theology and willing to adhere to the principal documents of Faith Community Bible Church (the Mission Statement, Doctrinal Statement, Constitution), as well as regularly attend FCBC.
